I believe is abt having the status in life.. Like cars, watches, belts and etc.. But depends on individuals.. Some like to see numbers in their bank book while some prefer tangible wealth rather than numbers..

My old wallet also used all the way from primary 5 to after NS, which is 10 years... But it's a canvas wallet not leather so is more durable, though now using a LV Utah leather compact wallet my father bought for me after NS, has a coin pouch which I definitely need, can't get used to those wallets without coin pouch, though no more keyring like me old wallet lol.

Wallets and belts signify your status.

these are the things that LEAST signify a man's status, yet also the MOST talked-about (and money spent on) items on this forum... go figure.

wallets - it's not what wallet you use, it's how good the cards you put inside are. what good is an empty hermès wallet?

belts - that "holy grail" H-belt isn't a status symbol, it's just a belt which screams for attention. if the first/only thing people notice in your outfit is a huge letter (or two) on your belt buckle, you fail.

well other den belts and wallets, the 1st thing pple usually notice would also be the wearer's watch. nowadays, a watch could simply cost more den a car lolx
