Happened with my IC. Only keeping CC and ezlink in the open slots now

I realised only those cards that I take out / put back very frequently is peeling. The rest of the cards look ok. I received 2 new credit cards 1 month apart. The card that I use more frequently (which is also doubling as the atm card ) is showing signs of peeling while the other card is ok.

Thus I suspect the peeling is caused when we are pushing the card back into the slot. Due to the vertical layout and tight space, the finger will end up pushing the card in a slanted angle near the end, thus repeatly "peeling" the adhesive laminate.

so i guess its just a leather issue.. haha. just wondering out of curiosity, why would people still want to get it? thinking of changing to a more minimalist one..

Don't think it got anything to do with the leather. More likely due to the cutting of the wallet resulting in the cards are quite "tight fitting" in the card slot.

The side of the card that is peeling is actually not touching the leather as they are facing upwards.

Ashdown Workshop

Has anyone picked up the bi-folds from Ashdown Workshop in the UK. Saddleback is nice but the shipping kills the deal

Hello, anyone has any idea where to get a good black crocodile skin wallet?

Branded or not doesn't matter.

Looking to get a slim wallet as current one is too thick and gets very uncomfortable to sit on. (wallet always in back pocket of my pants) any suggestions?

Shouldn't be sitting on your wallet. Terrible for your wallet, spine and butt. In that order.

haha nice one! but no choice leh if not i keep forgetting to take my wallet.

i used to put in my pigu too until i read an article saying it has been scientifically proven that doing so will harm ur spine...

now i just put it either in my bag (when moving about) or on my desk (when i'm in office)...

ok la, sometimes once a while will forget to take wallet out during lunch...but slowly jiu become habit haha...

but back to your ques of slim wallet, i'm not sure if this style of wallet fits you...

Then it's something you have to work on. Either remember to take your wallet or put it somewhere. Good wallets aren't for you to sit on either.

I haven't posted any photos in awhile! I thought I would share some. I have received a decent amount of fantastic shells since I posted last.

I visited Horween recently and acquired some very rare colors. Some of them are ones that Horween has been testing for future production. Others were just tests for fun.

The first is a new color called Armangac (center color). It is almost a darker version of Whiskey.

The next color is one you may have seen recently (far right). It is called 'Garnet' and I was told this is really the same a Color #2.

The final one is a special order I requested. It is Horween Color #8 with Pebble Grain embossing on it. I absolutely love texture and shell and I wanted to combine the two.

I also received an order of Horween Unglazed Natural Shell Cordovan as well. This leather is the same as standard Horween Natural Shell Cordovan except that they don't glaze the shell so it has more of a matte finish.

The left few shells are all standard Horween Natural Shell Cordovan and the right shells are the Unglazed Natural. You can kind of see the matte nature of those shells in this photo.

On top of the fun shells I've received lately, I also have a few fun projects I've made.

This one is my personal favorite. I call it a Horween "Frankenshell" Cordovan Bifold. It is made from eight different colors of Horween Shell Cordovan.

I also finished up a Black Nile Crocodile and Black English Bridle Bifold (for someone here I believe!) last night. Very pleased with how it turned out.

And a recently finished modified short bifold in Horween Dark Cognac Shell Cordovan:
