think it’s better to buy from store. Some are really high quality fakes. Buying online also troublesome cos what if the product does not meet your expectation

Maybe a little “defect”. Then have to waste time return it to courier. Store is the best.
But store prices are so much higher. On carousell or other 3rd party sites, many of those on offer are authentic products but now selling at 50% discount or more. And usually given as gifts, that's why the recepients want to sell them off :D

haha i like to see carousell. sometimes come across some high quality fakes. the prices quite giveaway. but you are right, sometimes you may come across an authentic product selling at half price cos these are gifts and the recipients want to sell off quickly.

For Italian brands like Gucci, they have outlet stores overseas and also runs discount on out of season products, which could go at more than 50% discount on original price. So there’s going to be a lot of resellers buying them from outlet stores overseas and sell at say 50% discount and still make a profit. That’s why I stay away from Italian luxury brands.
Hermes, LV, Chanel etc French brands at least rather destroy their goods than selling them at discount, so you won’t have a case where you bought at full price and the same retailer selling it at 50% discount one season later.

I'm searching for my next wallet which I'm leaning towards a long wallet now cos I need cards/bills/coins compartment

LV zippy
LV brazza
Cartier international wallet

But on the other hand, scared I cannot get use to the long wallet size
After all they are about 8"x4" approximately

Cartier one really look like girl :o

had one Dragone zippy (best layout), Richelieu and now on gm matignon (best functional design); workmanship is solid for Goyard

Hi all, sharing some photos of recent work. Feels like coin pouches are quickly vanishing with less and less physical currency being used.

Weatherproof leather remains popular!

Black and Navy Epsom leather bifold wallet, 8 card slots with 2 hidden slots

HI all, any recommendations for a dark blue/navy wallet?
Was thinking of getting a Mont Blanc but they only have a blue wallet in 6cc. I need 8 cc.
An alternative to MB that I've been looking at is an LV SLender wallet.

Hi everyone, am considering getting a BV wallet to replace my aging Prada wallet. For those who are using or have used BV wallets, any long term use reviews? I'm concerned about the durability of the leather specifically. Thanks!

Looking for a long zipped wallet. Have sourced around most of the mainstream luxury brands i.e. Louis Vuitton, Prada, GUCCI, Fendi, Loewe, Dior, BV, SL, Coach etc

Shortlisted 3 - Dior, SL and Fendi, Loewe (not bad but dropped as don't like their logo)

Wonder anyone have any suggestion on which long wallet to go with?

for me is dior. but i prefer bifold wallet not long wallet lol. the SL logo tend to fade off after a while. i am using dior with the CD logo. not into their monograms.

Montblanc got 8cc navy blue. Personally I like Montblanc wallets more than Bottega wallets. It doesn’t shout the brand and the snow cap logo is very elegant.

Sometime u get super good deals for their saffino leather series gg for $200 at outlet. Furthermore the colors are not readily available. Personally I avoid those common colors like black, brown etc. I usually ask them which color is not popular one and I choose that. Haha!
