you really live by the motto: hoot first, talk later!

I'm at a point in life where there are not really that many material things that I really want anymore. However this new Daytonna really made me want it... Over the past decade I had always wanted one. The ironic thing is that there have been at least 3 occasions where I had the previous model on my wrist at the shops - the chocolate rose gold, the ss white and a two tone and I could not pull the trigger. Somehow didn't feel or look right and was disappointed and felt maybe it just wasn't meant for me

Its different with 116500LN - anyway we shall see:) This feels like one i would cherish

well, what do you know? ... the seiko 5 SNZG13 echos some design cues from my fav daily beater (aka the world's sexiest diver: the wave-dial omega 2254.50 at 11.5mm thick with sword hands, large triangle at 12 o'clock, red tip seconds hand and generous lume)! :D

I still remember getting my SNZG from Skywatches quite a while back, and finding out that their web price never add GST. :s13:

Bro is this yours? Damn swee!

Anyway I noticed from WUS forums that we share quite similar taste in watches. I rather have an ALS than a Rolex or Patek.

Nope, I mean this! Not in production anymore I think. Sadly.

i'm happy for you bro!

please post 360 degree views of your grail and do a comprehensive review (first unboxing to post-honeymoon) - appreciate you sharing your joy! :D

i know it's too much of an ask right now, but would you consider getting it as a pair of 黑白双魔 eventually?

yeah, i also found it annoying that it only happens if you buy locally. no gst if it's shipped overseas.

Hi Bros and sis here, looking to get a first good watch for myself. Was looking at the Tudor black Bay, should I just go for it or like my Father say, save up more and go for the Rolex sub? Can anyone who was in my shoe kindly advise? Thanks!

TRT dai kor posted a very good link on tudor BB vs lorlec sub. Hopefully will shed some light for you!

How long more do you think you will need to save enuff to get the sub?
If not very long, i would say save and get the sub. If too itchy, and you are open to it... buy preown tudor bb, sell off when you have enuff to buy the sub :D

Get the watch you like. Just go and see the watch in person. :) And imho, please don't care about what resale value. Having the pleasure of a watch you really like on your wrist is priceless and intangible.
