Wa, how come you all take pics so well... Can see the omega logo on the hesalite

I'm using my trusty Nexus 5 cam. Mine was just a case of coincidence, lighting was just right I guess. I didn't even notice I captured the Omega logo on the glass in that shot. Truth be told, I rather the logo not be on the Hesalite crystal, but that's just me. :)

Trying my best to resist the urge to hoot....regretted trying on now....This or Tudor BB?? Need opinions.

Looks a bit big. Maybe it's the angle of your photo. I do prefer BB. That's me. Don't like a watch being too big.

Great choices for your 2 Seikos. Frankly, I also like both the BB & Tuna, difficult choice indeed!

Hahaha very tough choice indeed.

Both have their pros and cons such as ETA over in house movt and value retention. Naturally people will go for Swiss when they dont have a swiss watch in their collection.

Tbh with you, when I was looking around for my very first luxury watch, I wanted to get a vintage or birth year submariner but that's until I physically tried one...

That was when I realised that the submariner doesn't suit me at all because the bubble back makes the watch very uncomfortable against my bony wrist.

And I'm off looking at watches with flat casebacks.

Moral of my story: try on the watches physically. Thats why Donten and a few other watch lovers here highly recommend you to do so..
and Kashix... we can list down 1 million and 1 reasons why you should get the rolex sub or the tudor bb.

But at the end of the day, if you don't like the feeling of the watch while wearing it,

Doesn't matter if it's a 10k watch, if it's one of the most iconic watches, if it's rolex, if its 五根火柴, if it has high perceived resale value etc etc etc

Don't like it means don't like it.

That's why I bought the tudor day date, because it feels veey comfortable on my wrist and it suits my life style and working environment

Bruh, go read up if you really wanna plough that much oh a watch. What makes a sub sub and what makes a bb a bb. No need to buy in hurry.

appreciate inputs from you guys! will really take that into consideration, I think while saving, I will continue to do more research! :)

Hi Bros and sis here, looking to get a first good watch for myself. Was looking at the Tudor black Bay, should I just go for it or like my Father say, save up more and go for the Rolex sub? Can anyone who was in my shoe kindly advise? Thanks!

Try on both watches and see which one you prefer.

Get the one that you really want and not a substitute.

The watch that you like may not wear comfortably on your wrist as the dai kors here have mentioned..
