Nowadays no more "trends" created on the thread. Few reasons:

1. Biggest social influenza Yatto missing
2. Watch hoots nowadays all fairly dai kor level, difficult to set ablaze trend at those prices
3. The thread is just..... different!

Last sensation was Seannie and his BB (congrats to him again for buying).

Maybe sense a Steinhart wave in the works?

Actually watchuseek Steinhart subforum did a comparison amongst all 3 and found the OVM Maxi to be the closest homage. I have to agree with them. It has a domed acrylic crystal instead of sapphire and the indices are not as bright "yellow" as the mk1. The maxi has a more beige tone. In terms of dial writing, mk1 is closer.

To the person who wants a Steinhart, you can look around carousell. There are a few OVM maxis going around. Price is higher however, as it's a 300 piece limited edition with the serial number(#/300) engraved on the case back. The caseback is very similar to the Rolex 5517 too.

Trend must be cheap. So it's affordable. And ppl hoot first talk later.

previously there was a slight wave for OT500 when it was about to launch but sadly it didn't take off as alot of fellows here were disappointed that the titanium bracelet version had to wait a long time...

the Steinhart Ocean One wave is gaining momentum
Might drop by Gnomon just to tcss with the MILF

waiting for the "Stowa" wave still lolx

later this evening, I will wear my Steinhart Ocean One for the mini watch gathering and post with their watches =)
