Thanks bros, I'm all setup for my next shot. My cam is mounted on tripod, table lamp, reflectors all ready...has fired quite many test shots already and waiting for 10:10 for the actual shot. :D

... including the ring flash and pocket wizards too right? :D

They are home base, and according to my friend. U are not allowed to view, have to wait at void deck while they operate on ur watch.

they are from Singapore and sell Seiko mod parts and installation service but should not be shop base. they advertise in carousell

too bad I'm a sucker for the omega 2254.50, so end up paying 2k for watch with an eta 2892-A2 movement. :(

if its in house movement it would cost much more. the 2k also includes for the brand design materials marketing etc...

to me a good movement is one that is accurate and reliable.

Thanks for chipping in on this. SAS watches seems nice too but just a tad more expensive than Magrette. I guess that's reasonable considering they use ETA movements.

I think Miyota/Seiko NH movements has filled the void as the common movement used for micro brand watches. For mainstream brands, I would say that Sellita plays that role.

true that about SW in luxury watches to fuflil the swiss-made ideal.

not to say that magrette does not, but sas has very thoughtful extra engineering designed into watch that you would normally find on the bigger watches. real value add beyond just cosmetics.

Any thoughts on Seiko Astron vs Casio Oceanus vs Citizen Eco-Drive Satellite Wave?
