the 65 is nothing without the quirky dial. the bb bronze would be my pick albeit a reluctant one since they choose crappy bezel and dial.

what is "quirky dial"?

care to elaborate on the crappy bezel and dial for the BB?

my experience last year in london is that their prices don't seem competitive to other EU countries, and not very willing to give discounts, but i only visited the major stores & its during holiday season.

what's the fastest way to post pix on here? I used to direct link from google photos but seems flaky these days (it was never supposed to be a feature anyway).:s11:

uploading into this site takes a bit longer that i would like.:o

imgur.com seems ok.

Hi bros, what are the suggestions for a chronograph watch?

Rolex Daytona is out of my reach, hence i'm thinking either Tag Heuer F1 Automatic or Omega Speedmaster Racing, any opinion on these 2?

i used to be a fan of the omega speedmaster professional moonwatch. i'd still recommend that iconic watch over the omega speedmaster racing, which uses an automatic movement - simply because of the moonwatch's widespread popularity and tradeability. if you're not averse, try getting one pre-owned with box & papers if possible, as the first owner has already absorbed the initial depreciation.

do note that it's a manual winding watch with no hackable/stop seconds and poor water resistance. if you can live with that, and you love its iconic status/design, go for it.

if you want to go hardcore, save up for either the new daytona panda with ceramic bezel or zenith el-primero 36,000vph hi-beat chronograph. you won't go wrong with either, though the daytona holds its value a bit better.

cheers.
