not really, actually nothing to do with salary but more with savings. depends on individual,

I will think to buy a watch should not be more than 10% of your current savings (if you are married with child) , if single maybe 40%.

that's why I still can't buy rolex :(

This is one watch I almost bought. But troublesome to buy the bits to change strap hence I didn't.
But let me know if u wanna sell ok? Looks so nice on brown strap :)

But definitely a 2.4L Japanese car price.
Or a c180 list price


Sorry but got to correct a little here... easily 2 brand new c class mercedes, just to get an accurate idea to those here about watches and their values..

Aside....Here got to be careful, watch sharing with you guys I know.... like on watch prosite... not a how rich , show off type thingy.... do take it in the right light

I prefer the metal strap but definately will get the rubber strap. Need to get Patek's approval to buy the steel deployant. Haven find a time to visit the service centre

Understand bro... Yr watches, cars and pc hardwares collections are inspirations for us to work hard...

Watches do not show that you are rich when you are in the high circle, everyone can afford it and it's whether they'll buy or not, most will have.. going further, a Bungalow may be $20m today and if you can buy that, whats a few millions in watches or cars, and it never ends, the higher you go, the more humble you will be, because to the next guy the same $20m could just be a leisure yacht. Buy at your level, because you buy to enjoy, of course to many to show off as well. And the most stupid one, to show off to those less than you? to boost own ego? When you meet a guy that's up there already, it just takes a few minutes and he knows what status you probably are .
I'm probably the oldest guy here, but I started from zero and not from rich family, reach out and grab your dreams young people!

I always think that we should at max allocate 10% of our annual salary to our hobbies.
