By the way has anyone used a luxury watch (instead of a diamond ring) to propose to his SO? We both don't like diamonds (ethical issues) and I want to give something that she can wear more often than a diamond ring.

Personally i think nothing wrong. For me, i rather use money buy wife a Cartier / Tiffany ring she can wear for rest of her life than throw a lavish wedding banquet. But that's just me :)

EDIT: you tried searching @ bencoolen ma for ur 007?

Haven't yet :s34:

I know Bencoolen have a lot of watch shop, any particular shop to search for the 007? I only keep see K2 throughout this thread for Seiko that's why I looking at that shop + lazada and I recently found Watchspree. Just not sure if it's safe, price below $220 + 1 year in house warranty :(

EDIT: Managed to call through K2, only has SKX007K2 in stock, I'm looking at K1

What's e main diff btw solar & automatic?
Other than the hands movement btw the sweep smooth movement, anything else?

Both solar & automatic also don't require battery right.

have you ever tried googling? it's the in thing now for when you have questions that need answering. simply go to http://www.google.com and type in your question and VOILA!

TRT dai kor's prospective wife very lucky, also will help dai kor to find out whether getting mesmerized by watch is better than S*X, as espoused by TT01! lol

Seiko & Aqua Terra???
Ion got Seiko boutique? Only JEM and Vivo have.

So he should had walked into an Omega boutique, hence Aqua Terra.
Bad typo. I read also like Err sounds wrong.

Paiseh, it was the Omega boutique. My brain is confused because I've been trying to choose between GS Spring Drive and Omega AT. :s22: Very hard decision.

I wish Seiko had its flagship boutique in Orchard, though. Makes it easier to cross shop between brands.

Wedding banquet usually not for the guys...

Is either for the parents or the wife. :s13:
Usually it's for the parents or the wife's parents. But I agree with bros that there is no point inviting people whom you've met less than 3 times in your life. I rather spend the money on a nice honeymoon.
