Anyone knows if those neighbourhood shops that repair/sell watches charge for removing metal straps? Trying to DIY but the spring bar damn stubborn and difficult to remove even with a spring bar tool :/
Not trying to be cheapo but like I think it's reasonable if he charges like <$4 for removing the straps :/

Which watch is that? Metal strap with end links not quite the same, need a bit more force but not too much. Can watch YouTube and see how they do it.

Agreed, something the smallest flat screw driver do the job better than the spring bar tool

I asked a neighborhood watch shop before. Charge 5 bucks. Better to just buy some stuff from the shop and get it done free. My friend bought a pair of springbars... Haha

Cos actually not too hard leh. It's also the sian factor cos I like to change straps around a lot. From metal to NATO and back hahaha. Imagine if you bring to watch shop everytime.. Think you might end up with quite a lot of spring bars! For resizing makes more sense - was going to bring my skx007 bracelet to a watch shop but someone on YouTube suggested using thumbtack and it worked!

It's a Calvin Klein dress watch I got from my dad! Yeah it has end links and I watched the vid too but it's hard to remove. Even used flat tip screwdriver to try also but still cannot :(

At Marina Square today to visit the new Rolex boutique which opened last week. It's supposedly the biggest boutique of Southeast Asia.
