bro, they told u $90 ah ?? how come their website put $30 / $50 (orient star)

Maybe I mixed it up.. I remember being quoted a fee capped at $90 though, if their check with Orient Japan didn't go my way. This was when I sent in my Malaysia purchased watch for repairs earlier this year when the power reserve was fully charged but the second hand would stop at the same position after a while and not run anything down (the power reserve gear broke, according to them, initial assessment was that the hands alignment had some problem ["fighting" was the term used]).

Not sure what the $90 charge was for, doesn't seem to correspond to anything on the site.

But I did a quick search people were quoting the $30/$50 you mention in earlier iterations of this thread, so hmmmm, you're probably right. They don't seem to have changed this T&C at least within the last year. Anyways I was assured by the shop I purchased from that they were AD, so quite confident that it would be ok.
