my grail watch changes from time to time (no pun intended)

was sharing with some guys here.
I like RM watches because I like skeleton watches.
skeleton divers are rare

maybe the RM skeleton diver for now? but cannot bear to spend that much on a watch.

Some watches that the missus and myself would like to get in the near future:
breguet la tradition in YG
ALS 1 worldtime
i think there are a few more just cannot rem off hand now

One watch that I always liked but dare not bite: devon tread 1

I think he meant you need to own one.

Come on, how can you call yourself a watch guy and not own a Speedmaster? I'm not saying you have to keep it, but I really think each man or woman that loves watches owes it to him or herself to own a manually-wound, three-register Speedmaster at some point in their lives. It may not be for everybody, but I'd venture to say it is pretty much the most satisfying watch in the world.

I'm a bit confused, did Hodinkee meant, no need to have a speedy or a speedy is a must have?? I think the former.

I find this version with the gold horse and red omega deeply satisfying to look at. Seen one at Far East.

Plain as in no other colours except black and white. For b&w, I think the Sinn 104 is nicer cos the contrast is very high.

Wouldnt get the speedy although I understand it's a classic but I am steering away from chronos unless I use it frequently but most do not even use the function.
