I like that the SAT and SUN on the date wheel are colored. Reminds me that it's still the weekend.

The nato look is growing on me

Thinking of getting a SRP777 turtle to put a turtle or perlon on it :D

Seems like the best perlon is from Eulit. Anyone knows of any shop selling Eulit in sg?
So far I only manage to find Holbens in USA selling.

Cheers

Think not say not good la but overprice in relationship to what u are getting in case, movement etc

But their tourbillion seems fairly priced

agree its an over generalization.

there are watches there that rely on celebrity endorsements (heavily advertised), historical pieces (heuer) , serious movements mechanical (mikrograph; belt-drive) and innovative digital watches (monaco 69) too.

best way to discuss tag heuer is to zoom down sufficiently to a range or the actual model itself.

Sorry bro, can't agree with you on that. My first luxury watch was a tag that I wore daily for 10 years. Even though I now acquired better knowledge and wear other watches, I totally enjoyed that watch and the quality. For the design, quality, price, I find it acceptable. Of coz there are other watches that appeal differently and could offer outstanding value, but I definately would not write off tags.
Sorry bro, can't agree with you on that. My first luxury watch was a tag that I wore daily for 5 years 2000 to 2005. Even though I now acquired better knowledge and wear other watches, I totally regretted that buy and the quality is slightly above seiko only, below brands like BALL and maybe worse then steinhard. For the design, quality, price, I find it the worse in therm of value.

Dun know why Tudor must cheapen its brand to sell in Vincent.. They are not brand like tag.. They are rolex little bro brand lor.. Maybe Seannie bought one so the brand goes downhill. I totally not interested in Tudor now.. It is just like Lv selling its bag in wet market.

Are they selling GS? Can get it cheaper from them if yes?!

Have a splendid Saturday!

show the other side !

Pity that the watch is too big for your wrist. Reverso lugs are quite unforgiving when oversized, though most people have the reverse (pun unintended) issue of it being too small.

i actually like the look of oversized watches on ladies, especially if the overall look matches.

same for guys but to a lesser extent. some ladies really can pull it off really well.

my profile similar to Nakedtoes also lah, i started with a Carrera and Formula 1. I also had a Ball later.

Whilst i wouldn't use the word regret, i would say it was "school fees" to get into watches. Looking back if i had a chance, would also just buy a Rolex or Omega if i "only knew better"

I mean it's common, when you're in the phase of progressing in your career/life - you could tell yourself:

- buy the TAG first lah, DiCaprio wears one...can't be that shabby
- for my rank, better get a TAG or Longines first - even my boss doesn't wear a Rolex

these are just examples...

By the way...i still dreaming of TAG Monaco. Best of the TAGs for me

IF ONLY I KNEW BETTER :D

I think he meant you need to own one.

Come on, how can you call yourself a watch guy and not own a Speedmaster? I'm not saying you have to keep it, but I really think each man or woman that loves watches owes it to him or herself to own a manually-wound, three-register Speedmaster at some point in their lives. It may not be for everybody, but I'd venture to say it is pretty much the most satisfying watch in the world.

lol thats very very simplistic.

i had one and sold it because i felt there were too many poseurs around. and statements like that doesn't help.
