I remember my mum buying one too. I think that was the affordable-luxury of then versus Rolex, which was out of reach of the common man.

Very disappointed. Expected more from Hodinkee. Sub $500 best watch is IWC that you successfully lowball from Carousell. Same for sub $1000. Sub $2000-$4000 where are all the IWC watches that you can buy.. Haiz.
