TBH, any affordable Saxonia Thin lookalike is just gonna be a generic dress watch, and not nearly as satisfying

Better off looking for another watch based on its own merits

Just sayin'

Haha, the real thing is out of my reach sadly

Never, never, ever, ever, say that. All of us can achieve our goals. Work towards it :)

For us watch enthusiasts, it is not about money. For me at least, I have been fascinated by mechanical watches (either by their craft or heritage)

People say in this day and age of electronic advancement and technology - mechanical watches has no practical purpose. But that's not us watch guys appreciate. If we want everything to be practical - life would be meaningless (again my own opinion)

Whether we compare cars, art pieces or luxury watches - it will always bring pleasure to the right person / owner (and not forever, maybe just few moments here and there.)

These items can have many effects, the usual answer is representing a great achievement as we had to work hard and sacrifice a lot to buy it. Also, a lot of research and even time spent searching for this item. Sometimes, it's not even that complicated - I like to stare at the movement in silence as i wind my watches. It provides me a sense of relaxation.

Sometimes when i am stressed, i dream of my next watch or read a watch article. When i dress every morning, i look forward and am very excited to choose the right timepiece matching my day activity or clothing. I look at my watches often (it just makes me feel good) and lastly, i come here to speak with other "Watch freaks" :o . Watches are a true escape for me. BUT best of all, every time i buy a new watch...the rush...i cannot explain the orgasm to you. One has to live it

In theory, you should never be in a position to justify anything you do or buy. All of us like watches and there will always be naysayers who will be bemused or bewildered we spent good money on these items. We don't have to convince them, just ourselves.
