It depends on which one you like better.

I think Nomos execution of the world timer is way nicer than FC.

I think FC one is the traditional type and looks good too.

However the pricing locally is rubbish, if u can source good price for FC it can be much cheaper than nomos

For reference only

@GX - I quite agree. Nomos has a cleaner dial than the FC, which looks busy. Also a common criticism of the FC one is that the date dial obstructs the cities and hours at the bottom of the dial.

@Ayu - thanks for the link! That's in USD, for a new piece?

@Both, what about things like movement etc? I ask because I've come into an opportunity to buy a used (or second hand, or pre-loved) one a price similar to the one that Ayu posted. .This one is still under warranty, and apparently has been hardly used since being bought from a local AD - and Ayu is right, list was >50% over the price in the link.

VERY tempted.

Hey guys, wanted to hear you thoughts please. Complete amateur here. So after seeing the Nomos worldtimer here a few moons ago, I've been quite smitten, and have been looking out a bit more for similar types (in somewhat similar price brackets), and I found out that Frederique Constant has got a world timer too. Question is, how would these two compare, if at all? Are there like models I should be reading about?

Note that I'm not actually going to be using the world timer function.. :s13:

I like the how the worldtimer in blue looks. It's dark blue dial is really quite impressive. :)

Hmm 62MAS re-edition? Aint gonna be cheap once it comes with 8L35 calibre. The original 62MAS's value will def increase.

Already dared you to report me for my clones.
Chicken.

Why should I bother to report you, hardwarezone has no reward for me.
As long as you happy, you can use all your clone account to praise your watches, so that you can sleep soundly .

You are only good at using crude words like a barbarian.

Still using your clone accounts to praise your own watch collections ?

:s13:

this is one of the few posts that shows your intelligience level is pretty low, lets just say pwillie has a watch collection that IS worthy enough for him to show off...he earned this right.

go ahead, earn such rights, if you can :o

Here's another vote for the Nomos worldtimer. The dial and movement is simply exquisite.
