So I will be wearing it for a week and this is day 1.

Congratulations! It looks to be in absolute pristine condition.

Got to say, this is one of the few watches with white dials that I can go for. I like the simplicity, symmetry and subtle yet beautiful red font and hand.

yes, they took the effort to achieve the illusion of dial symmetry using a discrete date cut out and date wheel in the same colour as the dial. and more importantly, by also having the lume hour maker at 3 o'clock! this illusion is even more evident in my black omega seamaster 2254.50. (this is another reason why i like the tudor pelagos I dial over the pelagos II dial).

and of course, a dash of red sportiness is always welcome and especially auspicious during chinese new year!

finally had to get my hands dirty and go into full manual mode to lock in shutter speed to eliminate camera shake, fiddled around with iso settings on live view, set macro mode (a joke on my non-dslr). too lazy with a tripod setup cos don't want to capture the motion blur of the seconds hand on long exposure. hope you photogs can forgive my amateur effort and perhaps offer some pointers.

At first glance, I thought it was the Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial. I like how the date window is very subtle, and the case finishing reminds me a lot of the Tudor Heritage Black Bay Bronze.

Can't wait for the full review after a week!

I really like how they took the trouble to have the lumed marker at the date, even if it's smaller.

That is also one of the reasons why I decided not to go for Pelagos in-house, one of the few changes they made from the ETA version was removal of the lume marker at the date..
