tags are notorious for having a high depreciation. if you don't wish to lose a chunk selling your 1st hand tag when you upgrade your watch (unless you bought 2nd hand - which i won't recommend since you're starting out on watches), i suggest you save more to get one that will retain its value better.
as you know and learn about watches more, your taste will not be manipulated by fashion or ads. you'll know how to navigate the pre-owned and microbrand market better to unearth some gems.

a pre-owned tudor black-bay is also an excellent choice cos it's been released for less than 3 years. (make sure you get full set with box, warranty cards, sales invoice, extra links. verify the watch serial number with the card.)
whatever you do, resist the temptation for "boutique-grade" rip-off fakes. they aren't cheap and you can't resell them to re-coup your expenditure. worse still, eagle-eyed watch lovers can spot a fake and it damages your integrity & credibility if your client, working colleague or boss is that expert.
