What an interesting piece!

I have been thinking of paracord bracelet for watches, but have yet to see how it factors in terms of comfort and practicality.

2nd. Buy at transit= no GST, how to Siam? After you go overseas, bring the watch box and post it back to your address in Singapore. What to write to state what you're shipping? Write " watch with bracelet ". Price wise state it below 400SGD, my recommendation is 50USD (Don't do this if you're traveling to India, Indonesia, those unsafe country, you'll risk getting your package ripped apart) and remember to use tracking.

Include the 7% GST when buying the watch/es and get that peace of mind

If I'm correct it's pay 10x, never get caught before haha. What I usually do is 1000<don't declare/depends on item. Branded and above 1000 declare Depends on how much items your carrying too haha, can't be that you're carrying a Hermes bag and never declare a watch

Haha yeah, you risk getting the item stolen etc, not encouraging people to do it, just saying that it can be done if you're a risk taker.

Regarding the GST thing,

I thought you could just wear the watch back, but make sure you don't carry the box with you as that proves you purchased it overseas. Then post the empty box only back to yourself, marked as "Watch Box" or something like that.

I don't see how they can catch you at customs wearing a luxury watch, unless they do a 100% check and find receipts in your wallet or do some real investigative work and crosscheck your deliveries with Singpost/DHL/etc.

Probably if you're with a friend you can wear the watch and your friend carries the empty box. Just don't go through customs together.

The main targets for GST fraud are people trying to bring in goods for reselling and profit while trying to circumvent taxes.
