felt the bracelet too chunky, the 33mm bracelet has a slight slant from wide to narrow.. hahha.. actaully i think ladies tend to prefer quartz..less hassle for them.

Raymond Weil's Jasmine series are equally beautiful. I got one for my wife and she loves it. Unless your wife is a fan of Cartier, imo option 3 is nice.

thought abt that..but think i should slowly...round 1 hoot rollie, round 2 patek ah? :s13:

lol....like that make me more mindfcked hahaha

yea tank solo is their most classic piece but looking for a steel bracelet piece, the leather strap on solo is nicer than the one on the bracelet. haiz..damn undecided. and if I throw in the JLC reverso in the mix....ok lets not go there.

Hehe if round two can hoot PP I'd say you're leading a pretty comfortable life, which is good, no?

For me it's the tank anglaise. The regular one is a bit mainstream methinks. That said, for me, if you throw in the Reverso then it's that.

sorry guys, pardon me the watch noob here.

was thinking of getting a watch for the wifey as a push gift..

considering the below watches and am super undecided...was wondering if u guys here have any views? :(

she dresses quite feminine ie dresses etc, petite size (hence was thinking not too large a watch). thinking a day 2 day watch, rather than a dress one.

1) Cartier Ballon Bleu 33mm
http://www.cartier.sg/en-sg/collect...er/w6920071 ballon bleu de cartier watch.html

my top choice..looks v classy and less common piece suited for day2day wearing and looks ok for a function as well. But friend of mine said BB is very new, not classic cartier and i shld look at Tank or Santos etc. and that the movement sux, spoil easily. really?

2) Tank Francaise
http://www.cartier.sg/en-sg/collect...-francaise/wsta0005 tank française watch.html

looks more dressy in my opinion..doesnt stands out for me. but its a classic cartier model..

3) Tank Anglaise
http://www.cartier.sg/en-sg/collect...nk-anglaise/w5310044 tank anglaise watch.html

looks like a middle grd between 1) and 2)... so for me its actually b/w Ballon and this..

what are your thoughts? especially if u have owned the above pieces..

My friend, you need a Jaeger-LeCoultre
