all seiko day-dates in japan all feature kanji dial, right?

ever seen a seiko PADI turtle with kanji day wheel over there?

Tudor is really going downhill. BB36 is now released as 41mm. A 2-tone black gold Black Bay as well. I thought the Pelagos/Rose-logo Black Bay will kickstart a new era for Tudor. Apparently not lol.

I'm considering getting a GMT or worldtime watch. Basically when I travel to countries where their time is different from SG time.

I don't want a rolex nor an AP nor a PP. My budget is around 12k sgd. Cheaper suggestions also welcome.

Any recommendations?

it's a true traveller GMT watch that operates just like the rolex gmt master II/IIc in that it has an independently adjustable hour hand in the 1st position that allows you to advance/rewind the hour hand to local time upon reaching your destination in another time zone - without the second hand stopping. the only downside is no quick-set date. you've to wind the watch all the way through to the correct date. very few GMT watches can do this.

the omega 2538.20 seamaster gmt "great white" is out of production for about 10 years liao. you'll need patience and a bit of luck to hunt down a full set, mint condition watch with outer/inner boxes+manual+all 3 cards. oh and it's a bona fide diver with 300m water resistance & bracelet with diver's extension compared to the gmt master II/IIc's 100m.

it could be the china/taiwan edition which uses modern chinese 一， 二， 三， 四， 五， 六， 日 for its secondary day wheel. just like my citizen ny2300 diver.

the kanji day wheel follows traditional/ancient chinese 月， 火， 水， 木， 金， 土， 日 to indicate days of the week.

some have modded the polar explorer II with a GMT master bezel to approximate the uber rare white dial GMT master that were given to PanAm executives after they started pilfering the black dial GMT masters that were meant for the pilots when rolex delivered them to their offices.

Bro tt i would assume so, but there might be some imports too. So u need to ask them. I have not checked out turtle in Japan before.
