Totally agree. It is a virus that is just within reach of many.

For the price of a new Tag Heuer Carrera, you can get a Rolex with 30 yrs of history...

what you will learn from here is that if you stay here long enough, you will eventually own a rolex. not joking.

Brooooooooooo, more than 30 years la. Haha but I know what you mean. Heuer got long history also. Except when they add the word tag on the branding.
I think 1950s when the first sub came out
This one damn sex but about 6figures.

I think I write wrongly, what I meant is that you can get a 30yr old Rollie in great condition for the price of a new Carrera.

The sense of history from the watch is "heavy", as they have maintained the design for so many yrs 😁

thank you, bro bubblemunche!

highly unlikely to be its black twin. I'm planning on a full set b+p 14060M 2 liner sub of the similar vintage as my Z series 16570T polar explorer II.

if you or any bros has any lobang, please PM me. thank you everyone in advance! :D

I have a z series 14060m but is a 4-liner. Is 4-liner less desirable than 2-liner?

Oh haha
I think 30 year old rolex more than tag heuer if we're talking about sports model
But a rolex 6694 don't cost more than 2k.
Haha
90s to early 2000s yes. Sports model can be cheaper than brand new tag

same year, same model, everything same..... the "patina" is forming, with creamy markers and will look yellow on certain lightings.

Belated thanks to bros

Went into lurker mode after starting new job. Belated thanks to the bros here who helped me in my watch hunt.

In the end, didn't get a GS cos of the long servicing turnaround time. I'm a one-watch guy and can't have my man-bling disappear for 2 months!

So here's what I got:
