wah bro, u rlly not simpur... please post more wristshots!
Nothing to envy, 99.9% of Singaporeans would not recognize this POS, so no point wearing it to brag.

Even when I wear my loud two tone gold GMTC, Submariner and Deepsea Dweller Deep Blue James Cameron Rolex, I only get compliments or questions from guys, girls usually don't bother at all.

I only had a remark "What watch is that? Very nice ah" while wearing my black themes AP Roo. And the person himself was actually wearing a Panerai, yet he doesn't even know what APs are.

Anything not a Rolex, most Singaporeans are not familiar with and would not be able to appreciate or recognize it on the streets.

Wear and collect watches, or doing anything for that matter, should be 80% for own satisfaction and 20% to impress others. If really wear watch only to impress, one can whack a warehouse full of replica rollies cos from afar, it's hard to tell a real from a replica nowadays.

Especially in this thread, most of us do appreciate or are interested to appreciate horology. We are happy and feel happy for everyone who shares their collection here. It doesn't matter if it's 1 Orient/Steinhardt or 100 PPs/ALSs; we still enjoy the timepieces :)

Bro, are you asking about the submariner and the sea-dweller, or the air-king?

Anyway give you estimate for pre-owned:

1. Submariner with date around 11k sgd
2. sea-dweller around 11k sgd
3. air-king around 5k sgd
Thanks for your reply Bro. For the 1st 2 actually. Air-king is so much cheaper. Is it due to age or the model itself?

I think the new air king not so cheap but it's due to positioning of the products.

Also less water resist, no bezel etc

But mainly product positioning. Movement not sure if it is same or simplified?

Can read here for some basic info

Wait till you try working with them. It's like vomit blood. The Swiss (French) accent is so strong. I'm guessing what they're trying to say half the time.

I used to work in the sales team of an MNC and I was the only Singaporean in a team consisting of people from the following countries:

1. France
2. Austria
3. Switzerland
4. Poland
5. Spain
6. Italy
7. Sweden
8. India
9. England

After 2 years there, I can understand and imitate all their accents reasonably well. My fondest memories though are of my trolling them all the time cos I kept stereotyping them eg If the Swede said she was going shopping, I would instantly go "Ikea is it?" :s13:

If you're wearing it to brag, doubt it works as I said before.. Most people don't care. Better to buy something you like, not something to show off.

Whilst a lot of ppl can afford, they also go for nice watches like Deepblue.

Like a person like me buy and sell type. Once I took a look at Deepblue, I got it. Like it. Many ppl ask me to keep. I kept it. Anyway I think different ppl buys for different reason. But so long we are happy that's the most important. Haha

do you presume other people wear their watches to brag just because you do so?

2016 Airking definitely not so low. Around $7k plus :o
