I wasn't expecting to be mesmerized by the blue dial at all, but it grows on you the more you look at it, and it helps that they offer an option to change the bracelet to a rubber strap (which comes in blue and is very comfortable), albeit at a pricey cost.

I felt that the 39mm was a little small when compared to the 41mm, but I was told you can request for a personalised design on the rotor, like your initials.

Still, have yet to see and feel a 5167A, and the longer waiting time of the 5167A could also be a factor to consider, compared to the 3-6 months for the AP RO.

I find that the 15202 wears much more comfortable on the wrist compared to the 15400. Did you managed to try it on at the boutique yesterday? It was available earlier last month but I'm not sure about now.

There's a long history on the 5202, now replaced by the 15202 for AP's 40th anniversary.

As for the 5167A, a shipment came 2 days ago and PP Ion had the 5167R on display yesterday. Not the stainless steel model but you should be able to get a feel on the case size. Hopefully it's still there if you decide to go down and try it on.

OMG this SBGR061 is a must get! That creamy, porcelain dial coupled with those Zaratsu-polished hands,indices and case= orgasmic!!! Also at that flame-blue seconds hand!

Indeed, I did! The SA offered the 15202 for me to try, and when I first picked it up, it felt noticeably lighter and thinner, but what caught my attention immediately was the smaller dial.

However, I do admit that the comparisons may have been biased as I had worn the 114060, which may explain why the 15400 felt more familiar in terms of size and weight.

Will definitely make a trip to the PP boutique at ION if I happen to be in the vicinity.

15202 is whole other price range. Can't compare. It's the og.
