Hi bro, just my two cents worth of opinion here. I think ultimately it boils down to which function do you need. A chrono? A tool watch? or something blingy?

That 116613lb will definitely stand out due to the two tone and sunburst dial if you are comfortable with that :D

Does anyone has thoughts on the Tudor pelagos. I'm thinking to get one as my first expensive diver watch. Are there any alternatives besides the Rolex submariner. Thanks!

Sent from Kong Island using GAGT

i think by now, every regular in this thread knows i'm partial to the oop omega seamaster professional chronometer ref 2254.50. so it's no wonder that i wholeheartedly recommend you the omega 2254.50. :s12:

this cult favorite among its admirers may not be the most expensive diver, but its current market price with boxes+cards+manual has comfortably exceeded it's initial retail price, and will only continue to climb steadily in the future. :D

the 2254.50 is a future classic in the making, right before our very eyes. grab them now before its price climb even higher in the future. yes, you heard it first from me. feel free check back in 10-20 yrs time and thank me later. ;) cos those who own them will be able to pocket a nice fat return!

apart from being a safe investment piece, this watch, imo, is full of charm & character. :)

more from my review last year.

Just as a reference.. An Omega Constellation took about 2months plus from Swatch.

whoa! 2 months eh?

i think those impatient with even c(l)ocktease unboxing will definitely die from frustration if or when they ever send their watches for servicing! roflmao! :s13:

#tudortuesday really liking the rivet bracelet of the new tudor. Very vintage vibe to it. If only rivet bracelet + rose logo + smiley words!

if you're willing to franken your tudor bb, you can always swap it out with a tudor rose dial. ownself song can liao, right? :D

you still have the original tudor shield dial should you ever want to restore it to its original configuration...

after discount, think 4k-5k possible bah (but dont quote me prease!)

that's retail
nobody pay retail for tudor.
unless carrot head.

tudor if ask, lup sup is 10-15% off. if you zai kia, can get 20%.

but my bb i got it 15% off only. means i chui :(

bb fever was at its peak when the tudor rose dial bb noir was 1st released last year. the tudor boutique in people's park complex is despo for sales. most times when i drop by, also no customer. so if you really, REALLY want a tudor, and is prepare to plonk down cold hard cash for your bb (5 pcs of $1k note) go there. 20% discount can be had easy, else walk away. (they're so despo, if you're lucky, maybe can even swing a 22.5% or even a 25% discount if the SA has to meet his/her sales target.) better yet, can get boutique-only tudor gifts. yes, you heard it first from me. and you're welcome.

just avoid the tudor boutique at mbs. their sales/service attitude suck balls ttm. unprofessional and bo chup. don't know which idiot hire them. :s8: even the seiko watch shop that sell cheap seikos, quartz watches and change watch battery at chinatown complex has much better service. please, let someone with a good service attitude & who works hard to give you a juicy discount earn your money! ;)
