no problem, ang mo website a lot of deal one .. free must surf surf a bit ..... current good deal is an alpina 42 dress watch (auto) grey dial for abt USD 360. saw it last night .. can't rem where as not into dress watch

mine missed deal of the year .. fortis titanium in bracelet (brand new) for less than 1000 sgd including shipping to sg. total 4 sets, I saw, I click , they put sold out .. I still camping there

My 16600 was serviced and overhauled in just 3 days at Drago Design. The owner just sent me these pics. Am gonna pick it up tomorrow





P.S If you wanna get your watch serviced by them, go straight to their workshop at Kaki Bukit. You can get better service that way. Call before you go down though.

My 16600 was serviced and overhauled in just 3 days at Drago Design. The owner just sent me these pics. Am gonna pick it up tomorrow

I wonder is it a usual practice to uncoil the main spring, clean, and recoil back into the barrel for overhaul jobs? or depending on condition of the main spring?

beyond mine too.
I see some photos, they uncoil the main spring and clean.
But some dont do it.

I'm abit OCD, so prefer they uncoil to clean, unless there is some risk involved which i dunno.

i heard some watch makers dip the coil spring into oil to reoil
some will uncoil and reoil the entire strip.

the coil is very sharp and thin, if not done properly, can blind the watchmaker.

so some lao jiao, they do the uncoil, clean and oil it, put it back. requires more work but its more thorough

some just clean the coil as a while, dip it in oil and be done with it.

depends on the skills of the watchmaker
