My first vintage, my first chronometer, my first "gold" watch, my first eBay purchase, my first impulse purchase, my first bidding war purchase. Not a bad way to mark off the first year that I really got into watches.

For what's it worth, it keeps time really well from my month of ownership. This calibre 564 is really well built, though I think the credit has to be at the watchmaker that I bought from. He even provided papers of his servicing report and printed photos of the movement!

I always like heuer's design, esp their old F1 series which cost only $800 and their Monaco that cost only $3.5K eons ago .. but i don't know why when it comes to the final 3rd, i seem to find reason/s not to buy hahah.. maybe i'll get their new Autavia but i doubt so.
