I was in Bangkok for 3 days and I visited all the patek boutiques run by cortina and TKI. The only stock they have is the women's aquanaut.

Zilch for any type of nautilus and aquanaut.

Next stop is Singapore. If I land at 4.30PM and I have dinner appointment at 7. How to maximise about an hour of time in the city area to cover e patek boutiques?

Where should I start and where to end?

Don't think you need to adjust every few days if you are wearing it. Few weeks maybe. HAQ will definitely be within 10 sec per year kind of accuracy... adjust every few years?

My GS Quartz is running less than +1 sec in the past 7 months.

That being said, I still enjoy my automatics although they are no where near the accuracy of well made quartz.

i read up bout GS quartz few days back actually. prefer watches with numerals. :o

get a watch winder ?

will still need to wind time adjustment 1. +4s per day. every 2 weeks need to wind 1 minute liao. :o

If you get ETAs you are bound to lose a min or two per week but the beauty in automatic watches is that you get to interact with it. I think what's more tedious is the need to wind the date, so maybe u could opt for a non-dated watch.

holding on to a explorer 1 now actually. non-dated. save me some hassle. i have a flair for simple watches. no/not too much complications. i love flieger-types. let me see if theres a good brand flieger type A quartz...hmmmm.....:o

Naiseeeeeeee, glorious blue dial.

15450

15400

15202 are all solidly built watches, you can feel it the moment you put it on. It looks and feels luxurious.

Critics often say that AP is a one trick pony watch manufacturer. At least they are good at one thing. Though I agree that we should all stay away from their chronos though, too much service needed.

even their basic movement servicing not cheap and its hit and miss QC.

but damnn its a AP - the bracelet already well worth the money

Oic paiseh got it wrong. Im quite intrigued by the 15202st. Still pondering whether i shld get it or not

That's actually the 15450ST. 37MM in diameter marketed as a unisex watch which is why this model has plenty of variation from diamond bezel to full on diamond bezel/case/dial/link set.

i am a new collector. after couple of months..trying to adjusting to automatic watches. there's often a need to wind for time adjustment every few days..or weeks. it's not really enjoyable..since you pay a premium...but a smart watch or a quartz keeps better time accuracy. :s12:

maybe my next buy will be a high accuracy quartz. hmmm. :o just my views.

You don't enjoy molesting your watches freq?
All mechanical has this issue if you are obsessed with accuracy and keeping them powered up

You don't like the date interaction?
Interaction should encompass adjust the date, day, moonphase etc the full package

Flieger watches hardly have numerals. Most are indices.

I agree dates are a hassle. Watch winder will save u e hassle of adjusting dates though.

I like the interaction process of winding it and all but I think we agree the process is tedious if u have to switch watches everyday and set the date :o

Maybe you can check with your AD. They need to engrave such items when they purchase internally due to their discount and protocol
