thanks to all who replied! really appreciated your input. currently leaning more towards the longines heritage legend diver.

I don't really fancy a dress watch as I will hardly wear them. so something like the longines heritage legend diver or the Tudor black bay would be ideal. although the price on that Tudor bb... lol.

You may get little or no discount for Limited Edition GS from GS boutiques in Japan. The bigger shopping centers like Takashimaya, Daimaru, may also have their own LEs.

For the normal GS, they can be bought with discounts in places like BIC, Yodobashi (shops that sells electronic goods etc). Walk around and check out what they have, there are many shops like that all over Tokyo.

Remember to bring your passport along for tax rebate.

Don't know much about this watch, but at the posted 3,000 Swiss Franc retail, you are deep in Omega Speedmaster territory, if you are after a bold, masculine, yet versatile chronograph.

Glad to be back in the Tudor family baby!

Love how the beige lume plots contrast against the warm hue of the titanium case. I personally think it fits better as the contrast of the older ones are a bit stark for my liking. Either way any Pelagos is a damn awesome watch. The feel of it on the wrist cannot be described in words. Missed it so much.
