- Audemars Piguet 15202 ST

Essentially this would mean a nice upgrade for me, although i've not crossed the psychological barrier of spending more than SGD30,000 on a watch yet. Servicing is also costly, let alone replacing the beautiful bracelet

If you do have to let go of the aquanaut, I would say the 15202 ST is the most compelling among the pieces you listed.

30 years later those in house movement they don't service
It's a longstanding and ridiculous policy, but proprietary movements are overhyped.

I believe Zenith, Longines, IWC, PP, VC, and RGM will actually manufacture parts for you (if they're unavailable in inventory)...at a cost, obviously. I'm guessing Habring and other independents will also.

Yup compared both models. I like the case of the Samurai better but like the dial and round indices of the Turtle better, so end up with the Turtle.

Also changed both the Turtle and Baby Tuna to sapphire. That's the final mod for the baby tuna, the sapphire really make it nicer and closer to the real tuna :s13:

thinking of buying a preowned black submariner. is HJ watch a good choice? was given a datejust so was thinking of trading in + top up directly at the shop

There are a few preowned shops. Chuan, precision, KB luxury
Give these shops a visit.

If your DJ is full set, then it make sense to upgrade to a full set sub

As for the option of trading in your DJ to them, they might not give you a good price as compared to you selling it in the open market.

If you are not in a rush... spend more time exploring and researching your options n doing the math

Given that swatch group is slowing controlling ETA movement, I suspect Rolex may have some difficulty getting ETA replacement parts in the near future.

Sighs... means i cant keep tudor eta for too many years. Gonna do one time servicing and then try sell mine off before i turn 50, which by then i should be able afford in-house movement rolex.
