I swear I have seen a Seiko 5 that resembles this, down to the 6 o'clock day window but I cannot for the life of me, remember the ref no.

Am very tempted to buy even if it has English day dial.

要有得选择，去aptimos吧。。。价格虽然没有竞争力，至少还是有得选择的。。。

Am really thinking of doing the unthinkable here. Doing a straight-up 1-1 trade of my 114060 for a SD 16600. I just prefer the tapered and classic lugs of the latter.

Didn't know Aptimos carries a wide selection of Seiko 5, but I will definitely go check them out.

I would like to share with you guys a bad experience I had at Poh Ling Watch at chinatown.
Sent my sinn chronograph to the shop for repair and servicing on 22th mar and was told on 6th apr that it's ready for collection. But he told me the second hand broke and got replaced by a non-original hand. Instead of apologizing, he blamed it on the model of the watch.

This person is also dishonest, the agreement was to seek my approval if the cost was above $350. When he told me the cost was $380, i told him that I do not wish to proceed and wanted to collect the watch back. He then said that the technician was halfway through the repair/service and lowered the cost to $350. I lan lan had to proceed.

Went to the shop on 7th apr hoping to resolve the situation, shop owner did not allow me to bring the watch to THG for repair at his cost, he kept claiming his profit margin is very little for such repair/service. (How is that any of my problem, your so called 'Ex Tutima technician' damaged my watch.) He also claimed that anyone who tried to remove the second hand will break it, due to the make of it.

Watch also wasn't serviced properly, various crown position can't be engaged properly when pushing it back. Caseback was also badly scratched when using the caseback opener. He also claimed its unavoidable.

To end this, he said he will get the technician to rectify the problem and source for an original hand to replace.

Had realised that I missed the value this one presented. So after going through v2, then v1 (which I didn't like because of the difference in lume color between hands and dial, despite it being the most popular), here's v2.5.

Not sure if I remember wrongly but the crystal seems to have changed a little. The edges of the dome are now raised above the bezel significantly. Also a plus point - the crown now screws in to have the Steinhart logo perfectly vertical.

This is in line with the experience I had with my Seiko chronograph. I don't mind that mistakes are made at times but it is also the shop's responsibility if they care about their rep that they rectify the problem.

In my case, my watch case wasnt put back together right and had a gap. He just kept insisting that this was normal and there all along, even after the watch came apart 5 min after I left his shop and went back for fix.

Gnomon version, dial slightly darker (supposedly 15%) than v2.

v1 is good, but the later versions are cheaper haha. I just wish they have a v3 --> change v2 or v2.5 to black dial.

i see, v1 description on dial better but its wrong.

but really, this line of steinhart is value for money.

for those looking for cheap beaters and expect ETA movements.
