I've discussed and I'll be topped-up a little on the other guy's end. Personally, I prefer the 16600. The 116600 is a great watch, no doubt. With its ceramic bezel, improved bracelet and lume. However, I prefer the charm of the 16600 with its tapered lugs and classic proportions.

Haha, would love to. But after having some prior experiences, I do not think I'm a vintage person. Too OCD alr.

my 1680 is the only watch i don't take care because its kinda beat up.
so no point taking care. plastic crystal, drop also won't crack.

change strap, just yolo. no need care scratches. on the other hand, i kinda baby them, even the speedy (also vintage).

wonder if it can be done by a watch technician locally - take apart the watch and add a bevel.

There's no bevel on the edge. Go look at a black bay. That has beveled edges.

Edit: not sure what you looking for. No printed dial like on vintage. It's stuck between modern and vintage. The recent retired sd4000 is a better look.

It seems that your heart is with the 16600. I say go for it! I have been tempted multiple times to switch the 116600 for an earlier tapered lug SD, but I'll see how it goes.

I suggest you get a 16600 and keep your 116600 as the latter could be very collectible in the future due to its short production run.

How this watch? Electrifying or cannot make it? It Doesn't seem to have shiny material... Its like a brush aluminum and dun have the umph factor.. Somote the watch like damn light... Dun have the feeling of a 5k watch

Agreed! Shot you a link on Carousell, mpcdude! It is a handsome 16660, and although it does not have the original certificate, it has the other accessories, I would even pay a small 'coffee fee' to trouble you to follow me to Rolex to get a Ref. 2100 tool
