Your sales damn nice to you sia. Must had built a great relationship. Patek looks much nicer on you. It has become ur signature watch here :s13:

Bringing the family out for a belated Mothers' day lunch.

On the 5712:
4 years back I was shopping for a YG GMT and my sales says got surprise for me and she took out a 5712. Didn't know much about patek so just took a wrist shot and asked the guys here. Overwhelming vote on the patek. She actually held on to it for me for almost two weeks. Honestly i didnt like it that much but "a patek is a patek" and "its a 5712" or so they say. Over time I learnt to appreciate it: the bracelet (very comfy), the design, and my fave part is the gold micro-rotor which is uncommon. Somehow don't like the date window on the 5711 as well. If can, push to a 5726. Love the symmetry.

A fren was about to get a RM010 back then for ard the same price (40k++)and jio me to get one as well. Until this day I am still kicking myself for not getting the RM010: She recently sold it for close to 70k.

I have not seen both side by side, but having had a 41 mm ROC and then a 39 mm RO dual time, I prefer the 39 mm case size.

I prefer the visual aesthetic of the 2-hander as well!

So 15202 wins for me...

I very much prefer a less cluttered dial... will keep in mind 5712 - the watch may grow on me.

I was actually considering a 15400 as well, but 5711 appealed to me more. But then if the purchase experience is so mafan (not with the brand but rather the ppl who sells it), 15400 works great as an end game watch!

How you find 15400 compare to the 15202?

Excellent choice

yes we have known her for almost 15yrs already. always the go to person for our watches.

Plus our CBS guitar God, is he still lurking here??

CBS is always my benefactor indirectly. read about how he cut carbs and sugar and I did the same. very motivated. never felt healthier.

Btw, I've looked at all the Gruppo Gamma stained dial unique patina examples, including G12, G13, G2L. Just to see if there's a pattern.

What's interesting is that all of them use the Miyota 8215 - so I would say that that at the very least, if GG piques your interest, stay away from models with the 8215. That said, those are also the older models so only time will tell if problems will surface. I couldn't find any examples of the Seagull movement models getting the patina that Club Gamma members desire.

do consider the re-issue of the 39mm royal oak ultra-thin jumbo for a watch that houses the original 2121 calibre movement to enjoy more of the purist vibes. :)
