On this note if only buying to enjoy the workmanship and finishing

The quartz seems not bad at low 2k?

But not everyone willing to spend so much for a quartz

Yar you are right. I really like GS craftsmanship and finishing just worried on aftersales service. I saw a limited 500pcs red dial quartz $4k worth it?

If limited edition I feel the spring drive or mechanical one is more worth it.

If quartz I probably get a resale and lower range one

For grand seiko i love snowflake or spring drive, but bought the sbgx because i heard that servicing is an issue if you happen to work outside asia. Liked the sbgx a lot actually. Its craftmanship is excellent.

Ok thanks. Fancy the finishing quality. All are as good? I like your red dial GS but i guess its limited cant get anymore.

Any places sell preowned GS?

Yes. The red dial Hi-Beat GMT GS is LE. You can still get a BNIB piece from Carousell (disclaimer: I'm not the seller nor related to the seller).

Preowned GS? Carousell or forums.

^ I dont like bracelets with polished edge highlights and prefer single piece links like Rolex, Omega and new Tag Heuer (previously had polishes edge segments like in the GS). Just highlighting in case you also feel the same, too focused on the case and didnt think about it...Its personal taste.
