My first watch bought using my own money and I will remember forever. The Seiko Kinetic! Got it with my first pay cheque!

Same for me! Parents brought me to look at watches and I picked the kinetic. I still have it but the timekeeping is erratic now - brought it to K2 but Mr Goh told me I'd have to buy a new cal. and he can fit it in for me :(

Is buy first and enjoy later.
Life is short. Money keep all in bank no use.
Got extra. Take it and spend it on yourself.
After that work harder to put the money back in.
That's how you move forward in life if not life Jin boring.
Save Save save all don't know for what.
By the time you realised it, you never really enjoyed life and it's perks

Wa Kinetic can also have off time keeping? Never knew that.

Kinetic is like a quartz. Using movement (kinetic energy) to charge (electrical energy) the battery. So it will still depend on the accuracy of the "Quartz" movement.

Oh, I had no idea that quartz could fail. :) So I thought it was because of the kinetic get-up.

Guys now need another sharing of your ideas.

AP Royal Oak Blue Dial 41mm vs the AP Royal Oak Blue Dial Extra-Thin 39mm. Which would you get and why? For historical heritage of course the extra thin 39mm but its quite a fair bit more expensive and smaller which I feel doesn't look as nice.

Any ideas bros and sis?
