just met a "fellow" enthusiast on carousell. drop me a pm and ask what's the movement does SBDC053 uses, replied 6R15 which he could have easily googled given the reference/model number is on the listing.

replied thank you and i asked am i your google search engine? then starts to ramble about being not helpful to a fellow enthusiast and i am business driven.

god damn it, why is it so hard to google a simple basic spec of a watch?

if you ask me, maybe what's the beat rate or more in depth questions, maybe i could help you out of course with you showing interest in getting the watch. but no.

expect people to spoon feed as if it should given, self entitled prick. 16 years of basic education has taught him nothing.

ok end of rant.

if you're the prick here, too bad. learn something about googling for info. this is the 21st century where internet and information are readily available right at your fingertips.
if you don't have fingers, use siri, just speak to it.

what grade of material is used for the bracelet?

Came across the limited Seiko Green Turtle but just no feel for it even though price is quite attractive lol. The blue shroud just doesnt match the green dial IMO

monster time was accused of selling franken vintage speedmaster, claiming its 100% original.
was sold at 28k i think. it's a CK2998 with franken parts from different period.

damn shady. those in the group can go see the saga.

they were accused of selling franken vintage rolex as well, claiming as 100% original.

Quite long didn't wear the Sub, so put it on today.
And removed the final piece of plastic that was still clinging to 1 of the crown guards.

Excellent review by Jian ming on the Franken speedy... Instead of rebuttal on jm points, monster time is threatening legal actions. Will be interesting to follow

Hi pwillie, thanks for your reply. Do you know if anyone locally can service the Vaucher movement used in the Aquadive 500, or it has to be sent back to Aquadive HQ? Thank you!

likely have to send back. don't think anyone can service a vaucher movement locally. but i maybe wrong haha

I think if one is into vintage and spending that amount of money, he owes himself the favour to do his due diligence BEFORE making the purchase.

IMHO, I would think it doesn't make sense for any physical shop to risk their reputation for small gains and more likely that they were not experienced enough to have spotted the issues.
