Would u buy this for 12k after discount? 38mm version.

The thing about this is the resemblance to the Royal Oak blue dials, that puts me off.

New Steinhart is the best one by far in my opinion. v1 had a black dial but hands and marker colors don’t match. Tried to like the v2 grey dial but.. Didn’t click. v3 solves all these problems and comes with a much more comfy bracelet.

looking to buy my first swiss made watch.. what do you think of Longines latest series Record, it got COSC cert. my another shortlist is Tudor Style or tudor glamour. I prefer those simple look watches..havent got chance to go to shop and try on my wrist yet..

我自己的衡量標準經常都先談芯。價格便宜的錶款也有好看的設計，價格昂貴的錶款不一定會有合意的外表。

最基本的價值通常看在規格，配置上。
2000以上的預算也許買不到自家機芯的運動錶款，但是絕對可以買到有自家芯的搭裝錶款。Nomos就是最好的例子。

所以你在詢問上必須提示清楚。簡單的說不要計時錶是。。。不夠的。

GP is a much respected brand, but I'm ambivalent about the Laureato because it looks too much like a poorer cousin to the Royal Oak. The 12k can probably be better invested in another piece.

仔細一看，你似乎是在找搭裝款式。自家芯方面看看Nomos吧。其它品牌多數採用高量生產機芯款，對我來說品牌只能確保售後服務的素質，工質還是會有區別的。並不是你買得越貴，品質就越好。有些人花過萬，還是會買到酸檸檬。那麼有沒有cosc天文台認證證書，也就沒必要了。

雖然有貴錶是採用高量生產機芯。過了保修期後的保養成本也許不會很高，這就要看你找什麼等級的修錶師傅做整理囖。。。

That is my dilemma.

To get something that is cheaper but arguably not as good as the original.

Or save more and get a RO or Aquanaut.

Nomos great choice otherwise stowa is another option but newbie may not wanna go online. Nomos is inhouse, Longine Record price may only get u a entry level Nomos. Nomos I would get a display back thats like a $300 up.
