Got a chance to speak to the owner of Bovet when I was tasked to escort him upon arrival. Super nice guy and the watch on his wrist is super beautiful. Regret not taking any pictures of his watch :(

Dropped by two watchmakers today and both refuses to do it because it's too time consuming. I then went ahead to purchase a couple of watchmaking tools to try it out myself. Pray that everything goes well!

Modding seiko is quite straight forward if you hv the tools, except the crystal.

My self mod SKX (except crystal - done at K2 by Mr Goh)

All the best for your DIY endeavour!! I never did consider doing it myself as my clumsy ass fingers would probably betray me, to dastardly results lol

Looking forward to the completed product! :)

take out from the case back to remove the crown stem, then remove the movement.
do it from there for the hands. as for datewheel, more tricky.
crystal need to have the press.

Thank you all! I'm pretty clumsy myself and I'll do my best to not disappoint everyone here.

Also @gx84 thanks for the video link, and since my turtle already has a sapphire crystal, there's no need to replace it with another one
