A H Moser limited edition watch:

https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/h-moser-swiss-icons-watch-introducing

Swiss_Icons_Watch_Close-up_Black_Background.jpg

It has the bezel of a GMT Master II shoehorned into a Royal Oak shape, a dial that's a mashup of Panerai and Patek (the Nautilus) a Hublot case, a Panerai-esque crown guard, and a tourbillon under a Girard-Perregaux type golden bridge :)

Also see how the fringe of the bezel resembles the traditional bottle cap :)

lol, only Moser will do this, if they do a watch out of Swiss Cheese...:s13:

report no use.

AD did sell at retail - but they choose customers to sell.
How to be on their radar?
support them, buy from them.

if you walk in, why should the AD sell you, when they have ready cash VIP customers willing to pay full retail for it?
And why sell to ready cash VIP? because these VIP bring business to them.
They recommend people to the AD, they legit buy quite alot from the AD.
it's just simple logic. Relationship sales.

Unless, none of their VIP wants it, then they will call those on the list or put it on display, u see it, you heng. you don't, LLST.

unless the AD satki, they rather not sell to walk in, lun and undertable sell to grey dealer or tiong customers.

nowadays, even GMT Master 116710LN also bo discount. there's one at peoples park complex AD, the one nearer to the toilet. happened to see it today.

chiu are right about some undertable sell to grey dealer cos tiagong before always certain model come teh shop managers always take put in office and teh staff dunch even haf chance to see it in boutique then they sell to their regular "VIP" customer which in turn is teh grey dealer so called their "frens" if wan to put it in nicer way..to make it even more legit the grey may bundle buy wif other unpopular models for discount then can at least justify say "VIP" bought before other models but all games rah

onli way ish dunch pay premium to these grey and slowly AD and grey relationship cannot continue then let these grey seller ownself keep ownself stock up lor since some even got undated warranty card

actually how does undated warranty card even work. Lets say Rolex mft this batch they know the date mft and when shipped to AD they will have shipped and recorded date accepted by AD. if AD let go to whoever even grey they are consider sold in their books. not filling anything on the card does not mean warranty not started what?

Another way is make AD all need to fill up the warranty card the name of the first owner and if the ownership change immediately warranty void... this is to prevent they resell it at premium price.. lagi best the AD need to sent back the filled warranty card back to ROLEX for records purposes.. :D

so far ROLEX instruction is the date and AD name must fill in.. if they nv fill in they are able to trace and they will lost their AD license.. But still AD can play with grey... like selling a watch now to grey but fill in feb 2018:o.. Best is fill in the owner's name on the card also and register with rolex automatically so rolex can trace who the grey (those same name who get many watches at one time) was and immediately barred them from buying .. the grey can find another kakis to help buy but very troublesome.. like need to bring lorry of bangalas to AD to buy...:s13:

Saw a grey dealer listing a bunch of brand new Datejust (below 8% recommended AD discount but above 15% VIP AD discount), 2-tone Daytona and sub, SDDB... and...
2 Daytona at 25.7k and 24.9k
1 Hulk at 15.8k
1 Batman at 14.5k

Also saw a few Daytona, hulks and batmans at different grey dealers in Orchard and Chinatown areas :s8:

January is the month when all the new allocation of popular come in to AD, but we are seeing them in grey dealers instead :s13::s13:

At a premium of course :D

This is only in January, but If this trend continues, the retail buyers will suffer as most will be forced to pay premium to buy these popular pieces :vijayadmin:

So my recommendation stays - don't buy them at these prices, let the storm blows away slowly.

too much work and there's no rules of reselling of watches.

very difficult, how many records does rolex want to keep?
Rolex changes hand very often.

pointless. as long AD don't sell at premium. How or who they want to sell, really we not control. not even rolex.

that's why there are cases of NOS. undated, means still got warranty but within a reasonable amount.

you don't send in a watch you got in 2013 and fill the warranty as 2017. haha that's just stupid.
if its not based on sale date, its probably based on mfg date +/- few months

but but but..... they rich as fk. so they can brag.
as long they got it and others don't, win already.

the good days are over for under RRP Rolex sports model.

But story from the TRF, heard from AD/Boutique direct, there's a shortage because Rolex do advance forecasting, so they forecast 2017 bad year, so they reduce the amount of rolex produced. that's why shortage plus china, hk and even sg hooting rolex like its gshock.

so we hope 2018 will be a better year to hoot if rolex forecasted more watches to be produced.

also another story, rolex might be reducing the steel models and focus on Precious metals but that's hearsay

A lot of these rumours float around on forums by various people who have an interest in those rumours being believed and acted upon. And not infrequently, they actually work, so kind of self-fulfilling. haha
