Seems quite different watches actually. But why not the Pelagos black?

The black colour doesn’t stand out to me as compared to the blue version. Previously owned the seiko samurai blue lagoon and loved the blue colour. Both watches seem like decent daily beaters though.

It’s a toss up between versatility and standing out.

Usually when I spend more on a watch I would prefer for it to be more versatile. I would think black has a lot more chances to be worn!

+1 to this, the blue really stands out, which was why I bought the seiko blumo over the black version few years back!

Between the Tudor Pelagos blue and Rolex Explorer I, which will you guys choose? On one hand, the striking blue ceramic bezel and dial on the Pelagos looks stunning but the simplicity of the Explorer I also looks appealing. Torn between these 2.

i am also looking at the pelagos! but i'm quite gian on one of the iwc pilot chrono also.

anyway, i guess it also depends if this is going to be your only watch. if so, the explorer 1 will be more versatile. can dress up and down. but if you got other watches, i think the pelagos will compliment your collection better.

the 2 watches also quite diff in size. explorer 1 is 39mm while pelagos is 42mm. go see both watches in real life and put on ur wrist. one of the watch may appeal and speak to you more than the other.

New watch alert! My first German piece the Sinn 556i. This is a perfect go-anywhere-do-anything watch. AR coating on the top and bottom of the sapphire crystal makes it look like there’s no glass. And it is very nicely proportion.
