Rolex also need the sports model then for value. While all the common DJ, will probably retain value at best.

But seriously, tye more I look at the new omega snoopy, the nicer it gets. The mechanical, the creativity, design. All seems better than a Rolex Sub or gmt

$$ appreciation don’t get a GS then. Go for Rolex.
GS grade are build to last, my in law quartz credor still running after 30-40years

cant go wrong with both so to me they are equally good. I like the longer PR of the 221 and the gorgeous cream dial.

appreciation is a bonus ... aesthetics I liked both 221 n 203

This is understandable as hi beat takes more energy to run as compared to a lower beat movement, so if the mainspring used for both is the same, the PR will be lower for hi beat

GS for appreciation??
I will take the hi beat over the auto any day if all else being equal.

2020 Silver Snoopy Award Watch is nice piece. I like the 2003 better , 2015 the least.

Issue is both is on the negative appreciation. How steep the neg appreciate depends on supply and demand when you sell.
