What is his “claim to fame” here? Serious question. Not trolling. Because of his watch collection? Watch knowledge? Or just been camping here long time and big cannon? As I said, no offence. Just want to understand the dynamics in this forum.

Ya. I big cannon.
Don't need to know dynamics la.
For what? Lol

no need so faraway, johor premium outlets under swiss watch gallery arm already have those swiss brands like omegas, tudors, longines, ball etc...

they mostly sell those not popular like u mentioned, or those older models. sometimes u can catch some good deals there.

Cool. Will look out for it next time I'm there. Last time I went I only remember seeing a City Chain. Didn't know got higher end watches too.

Been looking at the Seamaster 300m with the white dial recently. Quite sexy.

Talking abt joma shop, what are the pros n cons?

Nothing much. Not sure where they procure their goods.
They're as good as grey dealer.
But funny thing is their warranty doesn't work with manufacturer warranty.

I have seen Tag Heuer and Omega stores at US factory outlets. Mostly unpopular models. Not sure about pricing.

Not true
Factory outlet have all the classic stuff.
Discount maybe abit more.
But unpopular models - probably 40-50% off.

Been to US outlet, Europe outlet.
That's what I see. Nothing interesting.

He expects tender loving care and we put across to him gently ... yes, my dear please use your common sense and think through if there is such a thing as tag Heuer and omega factory reject . May I kindly suggest that you go to chatuchak market to buy instead ? In fact u can even get a tax refund over there.

Lol. I think some need to be cheated to learn a lesson.
When it's too good to be true, it probably is.
Even it's bloody good deal, it comes probably once in a while
But tudor pelagos Brand new at 2k - No need 5 min gone.

For me no factory warranty is the deal breaker. Can't get over this mental block but their pricing is very attractive

I suppose their in house warranty doesnt have a local presence, then it’s quite a deal breaker..

He's a flipper/runner who sells watches online like trf lor. knows more about the watch business than most people la that's why he talks like that here but not on trf. if u surf trf long enough u can see he quite polite there :s13:

his collection is rolex omega and micro brand, posted about saving for a patek 5164. but always sour grapes and bash the brand because he thinks some posters who reply watch pics with their pateks or rms or expensive watches are haolian.

some other nicer and humble patek owners won't kena.

good summary bo?

Having seconds thoughts about getting a manual winding GS as a potential daily beater lol. Might get an automatic GS instead.

besides being a runner for local grey teh operation involves buying from Rolex forums (do chiurself big favour and browse here https://www.rolexforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=9 many stock come from there) and marking up sell to chiu local guys here.

Kum gongs will be paying for middle men service and verbal abuse...juz buy yourself from teh Rolex forums trusted sellers and nego yourself buy insurance etc.wif DBS ibanking etc so easy to pay online to trusted seller and have teh watch deliver by freight....wat for chiu wan to pay a middle men and getch no value added service..unless chiu are daft let them earn thousands..

Think no need worry about hand wind. If not get the quartz best.
