Anybody can say anything on cyberspace. You won’t even know if it’s real. Someone mentioned in the Rolex Facebook group not too long ago that he can get a Daytona Panda without prior purchase.

wow, i know where hwaa got his exp 2 without prior purchase.

Cortina, very lucky man if really no prior purchase. When i ask my cortina sales about getting a pepsi, have to bundle with some nonsense. lol

good for hwaa, really congrats. i always thought is thg because of the hublot

mm300 series, usually is top heavy cause of the monobloc design.
this wears better because the caseback is flat.

I am thinking to purchase a watch as a memento of my engagement and marriage. This will also be my first luxury watch. Considering between 2nd hand Rolex Submariner or new Omega Seamaster 300. Any advice from watch gurus here?

My research thus far says, Omega gives you better value and is a more advanced watch. But there is just something different about owning a Rolex, isn't it?

Also unsure of where to get the piece - AD or grey market? If it is the latter, any reliable places?

Thank you folks in advance.

Depends on what you really like. If your plan is wanna own a rolex in your life, then i suggest get the rolex first and next time got budget then get the omega. But if you only wanna choose one, go see both and see which one u really like. Picture and in skin really different.

LOL good to see somebody else noticed this other than me.

Small fair wrists wearing big watches... I think they are going for the androgynous look...

Suddenly so many EDMWers here. LOL.

Some of it is due to distortion - use a phone standard camera, take a close up of even a big gorilla wrist, chances are, the watch still looks "bulbous" and out of proportion.

Most Singaporeans are able to carry many of the watches in the recent posts actually, the lug to lug ain't that long.

Also, what's with the "fair skin" comment? So all ang mohs should wear dainty watches? :s13:
