lost the receipt and warranty card. cant rmb when my dad got it, hence assumed no warranty anymore.
checked out their website, seems like their official retailer/service center is by hour glass. will go check it out.

btw, what's roughly the range $$$ to repair a watch and for part change?
im new to this, hence would like to get a rough sensing of the cost and charges.
thanks
The service centre will quote u and u can decide whether to proceed or not.

basically... which one speaks to you more? and look nicer, classier on your wrist?

For Patek 5127... are you considering R? J? or G?

For DD 18238... are you considering...
- regular dial markers or Roman indices or Factory set diamond markers?
- champagne dial or white dial or blue dial or chocolate dial?
or some other configs?

Was quoted $940 for my speedy

my nomos Tangente about $400

General servicing of AP base model maybe about $2-2.5k

I would rate GP about 1-2k. Presuming no complications

by the way. Without papers, GP should be able to identify and classify your watch. Wouldn’t be worried about that

Patek if you want the quality piece on your wrist, Rolex if you want everyday people to recognize what you have on your wrist.

18238 has plenty of original dials on the market for 500$. Can always buy several colors to swap around

5127R…Only one dial color

also seeing the price history.
5127 is stagnant while 18238 has steady appreciation (contains approx 4 Troy oz of 99.9 gold and also track DJ popularity). 18238 was 2/3 of 5127 price in 2015 and now trading approx same price range. If getting 18238 now, could get some nice profit trading to 5127 if I change my mind down the road
