How durable are Swatch watches? My dad has quite a big collection of late 90s(?) Swatch watches, most of them the plastic kind in the plastic casing. Kept in a display case and looks to be in very good condition.

Quite tempted to take one and use as my dad lets me :s13: but I scared the watch face breaks or something :s13: . Straps definitely I'll find a replacement cus confirm will break

The crystals on swatches scratch very easily since they are plastic and the rubbery/plastic bands if kept too long may become brittle. I wouldn't wear them if they are part of any collection since finding a replacement bands for such old watches may be tough..

Alright thank you for the help, some of them really look nice thats why I wna wear :s13: Guess put them up for display bah
