Did u try them in the end?
first most, definitely more people will be curious about the real speedmaster= might convert into purchase.No matter what the opinion is here, you can’t deny that Omega and Swatch have scored a big marketing win.
Your post was pretty cool until the last 2 words which was exactly the cause of the hooha due to flippersfirst most, definitely more people will be curious about the real speedmaster= might convert into purchase.
I will even go ahead and say this might be a win for the whole watch industry, who knows it will bring about a new crowd of young adults into the world of luxury watches=price appreciation
its the inevitable haha, demand will increase while supply did not LOLYour post was pretty cool until the last 2 words which was exactly the cause of the hooha due to flippers![]()
Ya this. Most watch collectors already have a moonwatch in their collection. They might not wear it as a daily beater, but they have it for its heritage and technical capabilitiesLol omega lowering it's brand to pasa malam, makes my day with this comment. Those who want a moonwatch this Swatch collaboration wouldn't satisfy the itch and likewise if you want a ap royal oak a zenith defy classic/tissot prx or gp laureato wouldn't scratch the itch either. Go check your facts on why people buy a omega or speedy .
nope. regular production.Is this Apollo 8 one of the their limited production models? I went into the omega boutique and a few ADs hoping to have a look at this and they didn't have it in stock.
It's the biggest thing Omega has done for decades.So much craze for that collaboration. Unbelievable.
You forget about snoopy and speedy Tuesday.It's the biggest thing Omega has done for decades.
Sure it might cheapen the brand, but it can also boost omega sales due to new potential customers who might want to go up their budget and get a real omega.

With inflation even boluva lunar price on grey went up. It was like usd$270 2 years ago, now usd$375-400Wat is jlc AD rates these days? Thought 15% off (at least) a given

Swatch company = wins
Omega owners = lose
If I own an Omega watch, I would be very upset.
I do, however, owns a Tag Heuer watch which I bought many years ago. Imagine my horror when I stepped into a recent watch chain shop and saw Tag Heuer being sold there. I am very disappointed in Tag Heuer and will not ever buy another TH again. Similarly Omega is stuck off my list.
LV = wins
TH owners = lose
This is a very smart move there were so many people outside the omega boutique looking at the swatches .. and also the other Omega watches on display. If they just manage to convert a few % of these people who wanted a swatch to get an omega it would already be a huge success. Buying the full set of swatch is already about 4000sgd which is more than halfway towards a Seamaster already...It's the biggest thing Omega has done for decades.
