Blue I don't think you can get discount,most ad don't have stock and even have people are willing to pay full retail. Black 10+15% I guess I'll get from grey if black can get even better discount. Normal Black bay 10-15% I think no problem also

OK thank. I never know blue is hard to get. Just a few months I saw someone at carousell even had problem selling off his blue for 5k. I don't mind go for grey as long is from reputable shops.

Yes. Not sure whether discount is given for now ? Coz some of my friends did manage to get discount on their tudor Black bay a few years back

Weird thing is grey also don't have blue,lhd and black still can find in ad, I went around hunting for blue but couldn't find and eventually found one through my ad. I think due to supply issues time to time you still can see some blue pelagos in caoursel just the other day one dec 2020 going for 4300 iirc.

For sharing... i bought Pelagos recently. LHD no discount, some shops offer 10% for black / blue. Some shops all 3 models for Pelagos no discount.
I do know where i saw one blue pelagos with discount offer. PM me if are keen. No affliction.

As for Bb i didnt ask much, some shops have 10% for normal bb but gmt and latest blue no discount. I didnt see any blue bb58 at shelf

this is my 1st time seriously intending to get an expensive watch after profit from the meme stocks. Budget is 6.3k sgd. Am i right to say that Tudor pelagos, blackbay hold their value the best? Do I have to go right down into the individual models which have better value retention?

Hold value don't get pelagos or black bay they don't hold value well. If you can get bb58 from ad then you won't lose much.

Er... I lost almost $600 on my brand new Black Bay, sold it off after few months of wear. Problem is it's too thick and top heavy. Pawnshop don't even take in tudor. Watch shop will low ball you. Carousell is the only place you can sell but there are many competition, thus pushing down the pricing further.

Please get a pre-owned rolex datejust 16013, 16014 or 16233 , 16234 instead, fit your budget and it's a Rolex.

Bb58 will retain value. Bb41 and pelagos will lose value once you walk out of the shop.

But buy 1 watch that you like la. Dont look at value retention if youre just buying 1 watch
