Hi guys, what would you deem is a fair compensation if a sales staff accidentally scratches your watch when removing the bracelet? There are visible scratches on the back of all 4 lugs now...

Some context: I bought the strap from a reputable local company and the watch is less than a week old (~10k rrp) with no visible scratches beforehand

nothing, because you get them to change strap, they are not liable for any damages done

Very hard to be liable unless there are absolute proofs and they admit. Normally change at yr own risks..

Thanks for the replies! Seems like any compensation they offer will be purely out of good will and the most I can do if I am unsatisfied is to leave them a negative review. Learnt this lesson the hard way that even if I am paying a premium price for an item, I should not expect a premium service in return.

I had my fair shares of premium and complementary services with scratches after that. Learn to live with that and focus on other parts. lol

i would like to get an omega speedmaster white dial.

Is that something i can just walk into any omega boutique to buy?
Or should I look at authorized retailer like hourglass? do they give discount?
Or should I look at 2nd watch dealer shop ? i notice their watches warranty are pretty current dated and it is slightly cheaper than retail

something about myself, I am generally not a luxury watch buyer, but that white dial speedmaster looks really nice for me to want to get it.

If u r referring to the stainless steel speedmaster white dial, they are on the waiting list. sometime they don't even have one on display.

buy preowned grey, no point waiting at boutique or AD, no discount.
