Hello all!

anyone have experience with hour glass at ion?

I sounded them out on a Rolex OP 126000 jubilee, and also enquiring for a lagoon blue Tudor 37mm.

Anyone got other ADs to recommend for a brand new entry into the brand?
OP jubilee at THG is harder to secure than Panda. Lagoon blue is also unlikely to be a first piece allocation. Good luck.

Any recommendations for watch repair?

I have an old Tag Heuer automatic watch from the 80s (2000 series). Still runs but when I try to screw back on the crown there’s some whirring sound.

Took it to Tag Heuer showroom but they said that for vintage models the turnaround time is super long like few months because they need to send to Geneva (?). Also price quoted was prohibitively expensive for such a cheap watch.

Any watch repair shops that can recommend to repair this ?

Went to AP Perspectives on Time today and I must say I'm underwhelmed by it as I thought they will showcase alot of their vintage high horology pieces but it just meh?. Original RO jumbo is there as a consolation. Vacheron Constantin did a way better one last year.

Don’t know which exhibition did you go to. Majority of watches on display were vintage high horology pieces, there was a demo on the minute repeaters, did you not see the smallest minute repeater made in 1921 on display?! Not sure what you were expecting to see. I thought the exhibition was very well run. I enjoy it pretty much myself

As compared to the one that VC did earlier, this is child plays.
